Tahini Noodles

Time to break out of that same old pasta rut. Take a pause from buttered noodles or simple spaghetti and sauce. Elevate to the next level with layered flavors like tahini and chili paste added to garlic and ginger to give your noodles a little kick. Yes please to this quick and easy recipe perfect for lunch or dinner!

Ingredients

Tahini Noodles

  • 2 Large heads of Broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • Sesame seeds to taste

For the sauce:

  • Garlic cloves
  • Ginger
  • ¼ Cup Organic Tahini
  • 1 Tsp. Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Paste
  • 2 Tsp. Water

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with water & bring it to a boil.
  • While you wait for the water to boil, begin preparing the sauce.
  • For the sauce, begin by dicing the garlic cloves & grating fresh ginger into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the following ingredients & mix until fully combined: garlic, ginger, tahini, rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, honey, chili paste & water.
  • Return to the boiling water & add salt. Then add the noodles & olive oil to the pot.
  • Boil the noodles for 15 minutes.
  • Begin chopping the broccoli into small florets.
  • Blanch the broccoli for 2-3 minutes with the same pasta water after the noodles are fully cooked.
  • Add the cooked noodles into the tahini mixture & combine.
  • Strain the broccoli & add salt, pepper & red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Top with sesame oil & sesame seeds.
  • Enjoy!
