Southern Baked Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs. Cooked Macaroni Aldente
  • 2 Sticks of Melted Butter
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic
  • 1 Tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Tsp. Seasoned Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Cup Cheddar
  • 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 Cup Colby Cheese
  • 1 Cup Monterey Jack
  • 1 Cup Cubed Munster

Instructions

  • Begin by boiling your macaroni pasta until it's al dente.
  • Add the al dente macaroni into a large mixing bowl. Add one stick of melted butter into the macaroni, mixing to combine fully.
  • In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, sour cream.
  • Add the garlic, ground black pepper, seasoned salt, and sea salt into the egg mixture, combine completely.
  • Add the cheddar cheese, sharp cheddar, monterey jack, colby cheese, and combine completely. Then add the cubed munster cheese and combine.
  • Add the buttered macaroni to the egg mixture, mix to combine completely.
  • Coat the bottom of your baking dish with butter, ensuring the sides are covered as well.
  • Pour the macaroni mixture into the baking dish evenly.
  • Top with extra colby jack cheese. Add cubed butter to the top of macaroni and cheese in the baking dish.
  • Heat the oven at 350 degrees, and the cook macaroni for about 35 mins (or until golden brown).
