We still can’t believe it’s almost that time of year again! Our favorite time of year (besides summer) is Holiday Time! And that can only mean one thing, it’s time to eat some good food, comfort food, make you mad you don’t live with your mama food! These are your comfort loving, lick your finger, there better be left overs – type of recipes! We have perfected this Baked Mac and Cheese dish over time and are so excited for you to try it! It’s the perfect mix of cheese, butter and flavor in each bite.
Southern Baked Mac & Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 Lbs. Cooked Macaroni Aldente
- 2 Sticks of Melted Butter
- 2 Cups Milk
- 2 Large Eggs
- ½ Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tsp. Garlic
- 1 Tsp. Pepper
- 1 Tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Cup Cheddar
- 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar
- 1 Cup Colby Cheese
- 1 Cup Monterey Jack
- 1 Cup Cubed Munster
Instructions
- Begin by boiling your macaroni pasta until it's al dente.
- Add the al dente macaroni into a large mixing bowl. Add one stick of melted butter into the macaroni, mixing to combine fully.
- In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, sour cream.
- Add the garlic, ground black pepper, seasoned salt, and sea salt into the egg mixture, combine completely.
- Add the cheddar cheese, sharp cheddar, monterey jack, colby cheese, and combine completely. Then add the cubed munster cheese and combine.
- Add the buttered macaroni to the egg mixture, mix to combine completely.
- Coat the bottom of your baking dish with butter, ensuring the sides are covered as well.
- Pour the macaroni mixture into the baking dish evenly.
- Top with extra colby jack cheese. Add cubed butter to the top of macaroni and cheese in the baking dish.
- Heat the oven at 350 degrees, and the cook macaroni for about 35 mins (or until golden brown).
