Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the following ingredients with a mixer until fluffy: butter granulated sugar, brown sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time and combining well after each addition.
Add the pumpkin puree, yogurt, to the mixture and combine.
Add in the vanilla extract, combine and set aside.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
Slowly pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and combine until smooth.
Coat a cast iron skillet with butter before adding the pumpkin bread mixture in to bake.
Bake for about 45-55 minutes, until golden brown or until a toothpick comes out clean!
While the pumpkin bread is baking, create the brown sugar pecan topping and icing to top.
