How To Manifest The Next Chapter of Your Life

Manifestation.

It’s a word we hear all over the place these days. It brings up different reactions in people. Some believe in it wholeheartedly. To others? It can feel like a sort of magic that only exists in fairy tales.

But what exactly is manifestation? At its core, manifestation is a thought exercise. Practitioners use the power of positive thinking to attract changes to their lives.

Popularized by the 2006 self-help book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne, manifestation is truly having a moment in popular culture. With a devoted celebrity following, it seems everyone is practicing – and having great success with – manifestation.

Sound interesting? Then get ready for a life-changing journey! Manifestation is not all that difficult but requires daily work and unpacking of beliefs you might be holding onto.

If you’re interested in attracting good things to your life, follow along with these steps below. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter of your life will bring!

Create A Clear Vision

For manifesting to work, you need to be explicitly clear about your desires. Goals such as “I want to grow my business” or “I want to buy my dream house” are too vague.

Spend some time considering what exactly you want to bring into your life. If your goal is to grow your business, what does that mean to you? Is there a specific amount of money you’d like to make? Are there certain people you want to work with?

You can use different strategies if you’re having trouble nailing down what you want. Many visual learners enjoy creating vision boards. These can be physical or digital and should contain images that relate to the life you’d like to lead.

If a vision board is not your style, start by ruling out what you don’t want. While it may seem counterintuitive, you’ll find that this will narrow down your options and bring you greater clarity. Deciding what you definitively don’t want will help you zero in on what you do want!

Put Your Vision Into The Universe

Once you have created a clear vision, it’s time to put that vision out there. For many people, this step can feel frightening. Declaring your dreams out loud means you are opening yourself up to judgment from the outside world. It is also one of the most powerful things you can do to support yourself.

This works on two levels. On the practical side, putting your vision into the world means that you are now held accountable. You are more likely to work towards that end result when you are accountable. Additionally, speaking your vision aloud is a form of communicating with the people around you. Perhaps your friends and family had no idea you were looking to grow your business but would love to work with you. Without that transparency, you may be missing out on valuable connections.

On a spiritual level, declaring what you want is the first step toward attracting the positive energy you need to make manifestation happen.

There are various ways to put your intention into the universe. It can be as simple as writing it down on paper and hanging it on the wall. Or talk to your friends and family members about your intentions. Big or small, declaring your dreams to the world will bring you one step closer to realization.

Time To Do The Work

Now, it’s time to get down to business. Just because manifestation relies on your mindset doesn’t mean that there isn’t tangible work to be done.

Working towards your goals comes in all sorts of different forms. A good first step would be identifying what has been holding you back up until now. After that, it is time to take actionable steps.

This might look like reaching out to others in your field to network with or creating a new savings account. Try setting aside half an hour each day to specifically work towards your goals outside of your normal schedule.

Check In With Yourself

Throughout this process, you will have to continue to check in with yourself. Because manifestation relies on the power of positive thinking, it’s important that you stay aware of any feelings of negativity or low self-worth that pop up.

If you are caught in a rut, remember that you are no less deserving than anyone else, and you hold within you the capacity to bring about any change you want.

It might be helpful for you to seek out inspiration. Speakers such as Gabrielle Bernstein, Iyanla Vanzant, and Eckhart Tolle all talk about the power of manifestation and positive thinking. Surrounding yourself with books and speeches from like-minded people will help keep you on track.
