Can you tell us a secret no one would guess about you?
I have been skydiving 3 times! As a mom now looking back I am horrified…but in my 20’s it was a fun adventure!
One meal you could eat everyday?
SUSHI. I also dream about three very specific meals that in a heartbeat I would return to these cities to eat: the prosciutto soft scramble at Buvette (NYC), a croque monsieur from La Cave Paul Bert (Paris), and THE Au Cheval Cheeseburger (Chicago/NYC). SWOON. Can those three meals count as one and I eat them every day? Side of Mexican Martini.
One vice you wont give up?
A strong strong coffee or dark green matcha latte.
Late riser or early bird?
Early bird by force- with two toddlers in tow I am up most days around 5:15am so I can workout, walk, and/or drink enough coffee to resemble a human before they wake up! It took too many years to realize it but I do feel my best when I wake up quite early! If any of my roommates from college are reading this I can guarantee they’re laughing.
Morning routine you swear by?
Lately I have been up early enough to workout (with a strong caffeine), drink a day’s worth of water, and prepare for the tiny humans to be up at full speed. I have been really on my workout, skincare, and vitamin routine and feeling great about it. Mornings are full speed ahead getting our little ones out the door, so it all goes by in the blink of an eye!
One day I hope…
ALL people are accepted in our world with love, celebration and joy for who they are, empowered to live fully and freely as who they were created to be.
More the merrier or less is more?

Admittedly I’m not much of a shopper, but have a few favorite brands and experiences… If I’m shopping for a gift I’d stop by the Asch Building or Fourth & Nomad in Houston. For a date night we’re hitting up Agricole Hospitality or Thorough Fare Co. Coffee must be Tenfold Coffee Company (iced pistachio milk latte with an extra shot is the move). Any ride of Karyn Nesbit’s on the Soul Cycle at Home Bike (and of course in studio when in NYC!) Ember coffee mug. Supply Showroom wallpaper. Art by Alexandria Wallace. On the horizon: what’s coming soon?
The next year is full of quite a bit of travel (4 international trips in the works!), a few girls’ trips & a dear friend’s wedding, lots of incredible design projects, settling into our new home, and raising our sweet boys who will be 2 and 4! I have a few investment dreams I’d love to make reality and my team is at a really lovely place right now. I’m excited for what year 33 has in store for me and grateful for every bit of it!!
