I founded an educational group for mothers whose children have problematic drug and/or alcohol abuse. It’s called Moms for All Paths (MAP).
One meal you could eat every day?
Santa Maria Tri-Tip sandwich!
One vice you wont give up?
Sipping tequila after a long day.
Late riser or early bird?
I’m an early bird – up at 5:30 every morning!
Morning routine you swear by?
I meditate first thing in the morning, then I get a cup of coffee (with a LOT of cream in it), and then I read the news for two hours before I head into my office at the ranch.
One day I hope…
One day I hope that moms no longer have to fear losing their child from an accidental overdose.
More the merrier or less is more?
When it comes to food, family, and babies – the more the merrier. I love babies, baby goats, any kind of baby anything. When it comes to material items, I feel that less is more and try to focus on the simple things in life.

On the horizon: what’s coming soon?
Hopefully more grandchildren, continuing my advocacy work, and road trips with my cowboy. We love road trips, we’ve never been to the same spot twice. We’re adventurers at heart, but we do love our quiet life in Santa Ynez.
