- 2 Tbsp. Sweet pickle relish
- 1 Tbsp. Yellow mustard

- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
For the Mini Burger Sliders:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Reduce the heat to medium-high. Add about 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and 1 pound ground beef to the pan.
- Break the beef up with a wooden spoon into small pieces, until cooked browned, for about 5 minutes.
- Add the following ingredients into the meat as it’s cooking: organic yellow mustard, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients, and cook for about 2 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat.
- In a separate medium cast iron skillet, heat extra virgin olive oil on high heat.
- Add the thinly sliced red onions to the skillet and cook until slightly golden, about 4 to 6 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
- Without separating the rolls, cut 1 package of Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up in a small rimmed baking sheet.
- Place the american cheese slices on the bottom half of the rolls in an even layer.
- Top with the onions in an even layer. Then top with the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded medium cheddar cheese over and top with sliced dill pickles.
- Place the top half of the rolls cut-side down over the pickles.
- Brush 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil over the top of the rolls, then top with sesame seeds.
- Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 10 minutes. While the sliders are baking, begin making the burger sauce, and build the lettuce wraps as a healthier option.
For the Burger Sauce:
- Combine the following ingredients in a small bowl: mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, and yellow mustard. Serve with the sliders as a dipping sauce.
- Enjoy!
