Last year my husband nailed it with the perfect Mother’s Day! 2 days and a night all to myself at a hotel. A few moments where I can turn off my mom brain and just be 🙂 I still saw the fam for brunch and enjoyed every minutes with them but I wasn’t on duty afterwards and that’s a rarity these days.
I want to sleep in, have breakfast in bed (made by my boys and hubs), maybe a massage or facial. Then I want to have dinner with my mama to celebrate how amazing she is.
For me it’s really all about quality time. I would love my boys to be excited to go on a hike with me.
Attend church with my son and enjoy the beach. That’s a perfect Mother’s Day.
Honestly I would love a great night’s sleep, a slow morning, and some alone time! Then I’d love to have a delicious breakfast alongside my baby boys.
For Mother’s Day this year I really want to RELAX and have some me time. I stay at home all day with my kids so it’s nice when daddy takes over and give me some time to myself.
For Mother’s Day, I’d love a day trip to a fabulous spa. I’m thinking Ojai Valley Inn. Somewhere to rest, relax, recharge, and get some self-care in.
What I really want for Mother’s Day is a solo weekend getaway with everything planned and booked for me then come back to a clean home, groceries shopped, laundry done.
Proof of voter registration and this shirt. I want fellow moms to register to vote this year. We underestimate our power at the polls, but we can collectively make an impact.
This Mother’s Day, what truly matters to me is spending time with my children, husband and sharing a special movie night featuring my all-time favorite film, ‘The Bodyguard.’ I must admit, I’ve chosen it so many times that my kids jokingly groan about it now, but that just adds to the fun. It’s become a mommy tradition, and I love seeing how it sparks memories of their childhoods. Despite their playful protests, watching it together remains a highlight for me – it was the first movie I ever saw in a theater as a teenager, and it still brings me immense joy to share it with my own kids.
For mothers day, I want quiet time and rest- I would love to spend the afternoon or even weekend with a crisp glass of wine, and a good book sunbathing in our backyard!
Precious time with my husband, kids and my amazing Mom!
I would love some quality time in nature with my kids like a picnic or hike and also some alone time as well. Preferable at a spa!
I have been traveling a lot for work. I just want to hang out at a hotel with my kids and swim.
This Mother’s Day feels even more precious because my little one is turning 2, and there’s a bundle of joy on the way. With the third trimester in full swing, all I really want is some extra love and TLC. Picture this: lounging around in my comfy Monday Chill loungewear, having breakfast brought to me in bed by my husband, treating myself to a pampering prenatal massage and spa day indulging in some online retail therapy, binge-watching my favorite shows, and cozying up with my toddler. Basically a day where I don’t have to plan or think about anything and I can indulge in all my favorite things.
For Mother’s Day this year what I really want is some time to reconnect with myself. Would love to just have a day where I can focus on doing things for myself, because every other day out of the year, I’m focused on doing everything for everyone else. Would like to just get that facial, go get my makeup done, have a solo photo shoot by myself or I feel beautiful and dressed up… I feel like things like this are kind of overlooked on Mother’s Day but they really are really important and allowing us to reconnect back to ourselves and feel like we’re more than just Mom or just one day can really make a world of a difference.
I’m a prospector and enjoy metal detecting at the beach so a perfect gift for me would be time in the sand sifting for little treasures!
This year for Mother’s Day I don’t want much just quality time with my babies and some affirmation and affection from my husband.
What I truly want for Mother’s Day this year is time with my mama friends…the women who inspire me, hold my secrets & dreams, and keep me going on the daily. Brunch with my baby girl, time with my women. That would be heaven.
I loooooove being with my babies so an ideal Mother’s Day is me being able to enjoy them and roll out. Since I’m always on duty when I’m with them, I look forward to Mother’s Day me-time away from my kiddos. When they’re old enough to make me breakfast and care for themselves, we can start a new tradition!
My favorite gifts for Mother’s Day are handwritten notes from my kids! Their words mean so much to me and I love to see their creativity
So all I want for Mother’s Day is to travel with my little one. Make new memories that will last a lifetime. Learning different cultures and getting to know the importance of family time. Life is short, so spending time with the people you love is what I treasure the most. Sharing that bond and unconditional love is the most priceless thing I will always crave.
I really want to start gardening again and just garden uninterrupted with a cold spicy marg.
For Mother’s Day, I really want to be reminded of that special connection that I have with my family – and to deepen that connection. I’m a big planner. Because I like organization and it helps me feel like I’m getting the most of life. So a day doing something memorable and special with my family that I don’t have to plan sounds perfect! Doesn’t matter if it’s a hike, a day at the beach, a party or a day at home. Just knowing someone else put a little time and energy into thinking about me gives me fuel to do the reverse for the rest of the year.
I’d love phone-free time with my family and a spa day (massage + facial) and dinner that I don’t have to cook
What I REALLY want for Mother’s Day this year is to spoil my own mama silly. It’s so true you don’t fully understand or relate to what it’s like being a mom until you become one yourself. To witness what my mom did as an immigrant woman who came to the U.S., worked her butt off to provide for her family alongside my dad, and still go every year to India to take care of her own mother – that is truly inspiring to me. She always put herself last while putting her family first. Now, I want to see her be taken care of the way she did her own mom and not worry about anything else.
My sentimental gift: This Mother’s Day I want all the moms out there including myself to know we are doing the right thing when we prioritize ourselves and our wellbeing. We cannot pour from an empty cup and so we need to constantly find ways to fill up out own cups to bring out best selves to each day. And my treat that I’ve been eyeing is a facial from @bklynfaceandeye.
Mothers day is a beautiful way to acknowledge mothers and the divine feminine. I love that this is an annual event worldwide to celebrate motherhood. As a mother we are constantly on the go, making meals, cleaning the house, emotionally supporting our kids and our husbands, along with working on our own business and wellbeing.
The juggle really is wild, however it’s so fulfilling having the experience as a mother for me. I love it, I am so glad I had 2 beautiful, healthy boys— Xavier 10, Harley 7. I am forever grateful that I was given this gift as it has helped me open my heart to more love. I feel like my life truly started to flourish when I started motherhood and that is something I will never forget.
For this mothers day, I would love to be with my boys and my husband, what I desire is to hang in bed having a cuddle and a cup of tea in the morning. I really don’t expect fancy presents, it’s the small things that I thrive on… Spending the day in nature with my boys and husband, swimming in waterfalls or the beach would be something I would really enjoy with them.
