If you’re anything like us, you are still wrapping gifts up until the last minute! This year, we made a huge effort to buy consciously and not overdo it. Well, that includes how we choose to wrap our gifts too!
Raise your hand if you’re guilty of buying the cute rolls of paper, only to throw it out right after the holidays. Our hands are up too!
We set out to search for the most sustainable gift wrapping, that’s beautiful and easy for every occasion!
Then we found Furoshiki – the Japanese art of fabric gift wrapping. While we may not be able to use this technique on every gift, we think it’s definitely one to consider when incorporating sustainable gift wrapping!
We love how designer, Christy Dawn, is incorporating the Furoshiki method too. Follow along with the full technique below or on Christy Dawn’s website here.
