Can you tell us a secret no one would guess about you?

I am very musical! I grew up playing multiple instruments, singing and dancing. My musicality led me to perform in theater and my favorite show I was in was West Side Story (I played the Shark girl Consuela!)

After this show, I moved on to dance in the NBA for the Clippers and now I let my musicality and dance experience filter through in all different ways into everything I do now!


One meal you could eat everyday?

I love breakfast so really any variation of big breakfast meal is my favorite. Like eggs, toast, bacon and a side of fruit or potatoes. 

A breakfast burrito would definitely be in the mix too as my everyday go to!


One vice you wont give up?

Binge watching TV shows!! I absolutely love watching new shows that come out and chatting about them afterwards with whoever I watched it with or texting with friends that also watch the show. I love making it an experience and diving into another world.


Late riser or early bird?

Early bird!! I love waking up at 6am to get my day started. I’m one of those people with an ‘unrealistic’ morning routine but its the only way I can feel my best stepping into the day. When I sleep in late it makes me feel rushed and like I have to be extra productive or that I’ve missed an important chunk of the day.

I’m trying to be better about being flexible, like if I feel like I need more sleep, let myself sleep and let my husband take care of our daughter so I can give my body what it needs without guilt!


Morning routine you swear by?

We have a good routine going with our daughter now that she is a year old (please I really hope this doesn’t jinx it!)

So, I am able to get up before her and have some mommy time.

I like to give myself an hour or more — sometimes this does not happen and I just sleep until I hear her — but on most days I really try to make this happen because it makes me more grounded and a better, more present mom, partner and person in general.


One day I hope…

To be a role model for my daughter and to find balance between being a mom and living life . I know it might sound cheesy but really want her to see me thriving in whatever it is I want to do. I want her to see me be the happiest version of myself so that she can strive for the same thing! 


More the merrier or less is more?

I would love to live a less is more lifestyle! It’s a goal of mine to consume less in all aspects of my life but it’s challenging of course! 

First off, I love clothes for myself but I also love shopping for my daughter now too haha

For a long time I feel like it was frowned upon to not outfit repeat but I am embracing buying staple items and re-wearing things I love as much as possible, so this really helping me with the less is more attitude!

At the end of the day, I think you just have to live a balanced life. So if the more the merrier is your vibe right now, embrace it and soon the flow will change to less is more and back again! As long as you are enjoying where you are at in the flow, then that’s all that matters.


Cool Brands you love?

There are sooo many I love!! I feel like there are almost too many to name. Tons of friends of mine come out with new amazing ideas and brands so often.

Things I’m currently loving are brands geared towards helping me feel my best during this chapter of life:

On the horizon: what’s coming soon?

I just launched a pregnancy & postpartum Life Planner that I am SO excited for everyone to start using!! It’s really something for every stage of life so even if you aren’t pregnant or postpartum, there is plenty in it for you! 

There are also TONS of resources, tips and checklists for you to hopefully take some of the weight off of your shoulders!

From daily morning and nighttime journal prompts, to habit trackers and free workouts with me, it really has it all to help ease you into motherhood and the new chapter that awaits you after having baby. All moms (and non moms!) are welcome to this journal!
