Can you tell us a secret no one would guess about you?
First of all, secrets scare me. So I try not to keep any. But most people would never guess that on my first date with my now husband, I actually set a timer because I worried that if we didn’t click, I’d be stuck there making small talk. Turns out, I like his small talk.
One meal you could eat everyday?
I have stovetop espresso, organic toast, berries and walnuts almost everyday for breakfast.
One vice you wont give up?
It’s more of a luxury than a vice, but I won’t give up a facial once a month.
Late riser or early bird?
About two years ago I overhauled my sleep routine, so that I get eight hours each night. That means if I have a late night, then I shift my wake up time accordingly. Unless, of course I’m in TV production, in which case I am an early bird every day. Ouch!
Morning routine you swear by?
Every morning, I do a ten minute, brief guided meditation using the Chopra App before my feet even hit the floor. I follow that with stretching/exercise, dry brushing, showering and then a cup of warm water before breakfast. The whole thing takes an hour. BUT, this allows me to warm up my mind, spirit, body and digestion system before I start a day of emailing and work.
One day I hope…
to live walking distance to a body of water.
More the merrier or less is more?
Currently, I am in a season of life when I seek out smaller, but deeper social engagements. I value the people in my life so much and know what a privilege it is to have time together. So my circle is tighter, but the rewards are infinite.
