Behind the scenes, I have a captivating guilty pleasure – an insatiable addiction to indulging in marathon sessions of crime dramas and horror movies! This little quirk is known only to my inner circle, including family and a select few close friends.
One meal you could eat everyday?
Selecting a single daily meal is a challenge for a food enthusiast like me. My roots beckon with the flavors of North Indian cuisine, yet I find myself irresistibly drawn to the comforting warmth of Southern Indian food like dosas and idlis, particularly on chilly nights. Additionally, I have a soft spot for dumplings, and I could easily survive on those delectable bites.
One vice you wont give up?
Well, I’m not one to indulge in many vices. However, I have an unwavering ritual of savoring a piece of dark chocolate after every meal, and I am resolute in my commitment to maintain this sweet habit.
Late riser or early bird?
Early bird all the way. I am actually painfully punctual and hence to my friends and family, annoying. I do think that for me mornings are so energizing and it sets me up for a very productive rest of the day.
Morning routine you swear by?
My kids are in high school so I make breakfast every morning for them and then I absolutely love sitting quietly at my favorite spot by the window with hot water and lemon and a book or podcast.
One day I hope…
I envision a future where our world is defined by mutual respect, acknowledging that we are all but tiny specks on a floating rock. In this future, factors like color, caste, gender, and upbringing hold no sway over our interactions and relationships.
More the merrier or less is more?
That totally depends on the context – More is merrier when you’re building an inclusive community like I am trying to do. Conversely, in the world of design and fashion, I firmly stand by the notion that “less is more.” Personally, I prioritize simple and comfortable bamboo loungewear for my everyday wear.
