Can you tell us a secret no one would guess about you?
One secret about me that might surprise people is that I’m actually quite introverted by nature. To overcome this, I’ve developed a unique strategy to help start conversations with people – I use bold and eye-catching fashion looks. This not only reflects my personal style but also serves as a conversation starter, as people often approach me to compliment or inquire about my outfits. It’s a fun way for me to connect with others and break the ice, especially in social situations where my introverted tendencies might otherwise hold me back.
One meal you could eat everyday?
I’d choose a tomato salad for its freshness and simplicity, with organic olive oil, sea salt, and freshly ground pepper. Quality is key if I had to eat one meal every day.
One vice you wont give up?
Fashion shopping is a personal indulgence that brings me joy and allows me to express my individual style and creativity. While I’m mindful of budgeting and not overindulging, it’s a guilty pleasure I find hard to part with because it’s a form of self-expression and a way to stay updated with a shifting world of trends and styles.
Late riser or early bird?
I’m an early bird, but I’m not really available to talk before my morning latte.
Morning routine you swear by?
My morning routine includes starting the day with a coffee latte while listening to Apple News Today. I also enjoy spending quality time with my son, getting him ready for school while we listen to our favorite music. After that, I kick off my workday with a freshly pressed juice. It’s a routine that sets a positive tone for the day.
One day I hope…
One day, I hope kindness prevails and becomes the guiding principle for all.
More the merrier or less is more?
I appreciate the duality of the concepts “more the merrier” and “less is more.” It’s a wonderful reflection of my education and culture, drawing from my Creole heritage, and our ability to find joy in diversity and abundance while still acknowledging the authenticity of simplicity. It’s a great perspective that combines the best of both worlds.

On the horizon, we have the expansion of ManLuu with our international distribution, and I’m also working on my first book and an exhibit on Creole Jewelry. Exciting times ahead!
