Can you tell us a secret no one would guess about you?

Everyone thinks I am as cool as a cucumber during stressful situations and difficult business decisions.  I have a secret tool that I use constantly; my mantra.  When I have to speak publicly or need to organize my running brain I return to my mantra repeating it over and over in my head until I am centered.

One meal you could eat everyday?

I do eat the same meal everyday! I pack a mixed green salad with strawberries, blueberries, feta and pomegranate every morning. Bringing lunch to work means I don’t find myself in meetings and realizing that it is 3 PM and I haven’t had anything to eat. It also prevents me from eating office snacks – tasty, but often processed and unhealthy.

One vice you wont give up?

Sliming! Playing with slime connected me to my 2 girls and to myself. Often when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed I realize I haven’t slimed all day. Grabbing a jar, smelling the scent and feeling the ooze gives me just the dopamine hit I need to continue with my day.

Late riser or early bird?

Forced to be an early bird, please don’t try to have a conversation with me until I’ve had 2 cups of coffee. I’m up at 5 AM, running or going to Barry’s bootcamp so I can be back by 7 AM to get the kiddos morning routine started. I just ran my first marathon in Chicago – it was epic!

Morning routine you swear by?

My morning routine starts the night before where I always lay out my workout clothes for an early run and what I am wearing for the day (and usually into the night) so I can dress quickly with the perfect outfit I need for special meetings or events.

One day I hope…

My daughter Sammy will be cured from Angelman Syndrome.  A rare genetic disease, Angelman Syndrome means that Sammy, though happy, cannot speak. We are dying to hear what she has to say.

More the merrier or less is more?

You’ll see me flourish in 1-on-1 conversations where I feel I can really connect with people and truly listen to their story. I dread the 20-person dinner where I often feel stuck. Ultimately, I flock to a dance party or concert where I can dance with abandon. Olivia Rodrigo’s LA concert with my 12 year old daughter and U2 at the Sphere in Vegas were incredible, and very different, group experiences.

Cool brands you love?

After listening to the originative genius Rick Ruben’s podcast with Golden Harper and reading Born To Run by Chris McDougall  I’ve become an evangelist for Altra’s zero drop shoes. I took the 30 day challenge wearing them every day all day and won’t go back!

So obsessed with Christopher John Rogers I wore three of his looks to our Sloomoo Institute LA opening events. I lost my ability to speak when I met him in my office building the other day – fan girl!

After discovering the NY Liberty three years ago I am a current season ticket holder. A sensational brand experience of sport and inclusion, they make no excuses – the level of basketball play is incredible.

On the horizon: what’s coming soon?

While I truly live in the present I love to manifest the future in order to grab it and bring it to me. Right now I am manifesting a trip to Madagascar with my girls, opening Sloomoo Institute in another city, and owning a WNBA team (that’s a big one)!
