It’s giving you all the flavors of a robust tomato sauce, salty, gooey cheese and a soft doughy pita. This simple but flavorful dish will have you eating in no time!
Pita Pizzas
Ingredients
- 5- Inch Whole Wheat Pita Bread
- 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1 Can Tomato Sauce
- ½ Tsp. Granulated garlic
- ½ Tsp. Oregano
- ½ Tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Dried Basil
Instructions
- Begin by combining the tomato sauce with all spices in a small bowl.
- Then, begin assembling your pita pizza as desired.
- Layer the pita bread with the spiced tomato sauce, then top with more basil & mozzarella cheese to taste.
- Cover the pita pizzas with tin foil & bake at 350 degrees for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the pizzas when the cheese is golden brown.
- Enjoy!
