Lizzy Mathis, founder and editor in chief of The Cool Mom Co., is a powerhouse, just like all of the other mamas out there juggling it all.

This wife and mom of 3, started modeling and acting at the age of 17 in Detroit, Michigan before getting an academic scholarship to attend Northwestern University. While juggling her studies, she continued the beginnings of her career in Chicago before becoming a model and actress full time in New York City. Lizzy became an international model, traveling the globe, finding her passion for food, style and beauty from cultures all over the world.

Lizzy and her husband, Isa, eventually moved from NYC to Los Angeles, and started their family.

Motherhood was a major shift on Lizzy’s lifestyle, career and mindset. She leaned heavy into motherhood and at the same time pushed aside many of the passions she had grown to love.

The Cool Mom Co. was born out of a need for Lizzy to remind ALL mamas to put themselves first, reignite the passions they may have left behind, how dope they are as women and to keep bringing that cool to motherhood!
